So Cal 2014 Backroads Convoy to OVX
May 12-15, 2014: Bradshaw Trail – AZ Backroads: Backway to Crown King – Jerome – Sedona – Broken Arrow Trail
We will be leading the convoy to go for 2014 Overland Expo in Flagstaff, AZ (May 16th-18th, 2014). We plan to spend three nights on the campgrounds along California and Arizona backroads. Our plan is to leave Los Angeles on Monday, May 12th, and arrive at OVX Campground (Mormon Lake, AZ) on Thursday, May 15th. Highlights of this trip are: ‘Bradshaw Trail’, ‘Backway to Crown King’ in AZ, ‘Smiley Road’ to Jerome, full moon night in Sedona.
There were pine trees around us along this trail. Their majesty requested a deep silence. We inhaled their pine breath with all the freshness they were giving away. We heard the whispering tires when they were in chilly touch with the forest sand. The air we breathed was the purest. The royal forest silence put a spell on us. We were enchanted.
